Joseph was second in the land of Egypt, only to Pharaoh. He had a job as ruler of the land. He was an upright man who worshipped God. As with Daniel, again we see the Lord prospering his work through Joseph to preserve the lives of the inhabitants of the earth in that region. The seven years of plenty and famine that God revealed to him were handled with Godıs wisdom through Joseph to be able to feed that part of the world, and even increase the kingdom under Pharaoh. Joseph never defiled himself in Egypt. He remained faithful to God and thus, after his character was formed both in serving and in the dungeons of Egypt, God raised him up in ONE DAY to be ruler of the land. God knows the plans He has for you (Jeremiah 29:11-13) and will raise you up as you humble yourself before Him and seek His face.
