As administrator over Babylon, Daniel was a man of prayer and worship. His unwavering faith is a written testimony that we can be godly and faithful to Jesus in our marketplace jobs, no matter who our boss is, or what position we hold. Daniel refused to worship other gods even in the face of death. He served the living God, and knew God was in control of his life. The Bible says an "excellent spirit" was found in Daniel. (Daniel 5:11-12) He had wisdom from God that set him apart from all the other wise men. His faithfulness in prayer is an example to us to do likewise. Jesus said, "Could you not pray with me one hour?" (Mark 14:37-38) We can do that and more by His grace.
